ANNO 2020 is a vignette film, a rare type of movie where there are various plots instead of just one – plots that are told separately but which all intersect at the end of the movie to ultimately become part of one larger story.

The film is based on a published novel and its writer/director describes the story as “A global kaleidoscope of interconnected characters seeking redemption, forgiveness and peaceduring the chaos of 2020”.
